As we announced in December, we are preparing to launch significant enhancements to our support for online donations. Here are some of the improvements you’ll see in the next several weeks. All of these options will be available in one place: on the Create and Edit page for the donation in event management.
- Form-Free Setup. You can now set up donations that include buttons for predefined amounts and a field where the donor can enter a custom amount without creating any additional forms.
- Easy Recurring Donations. New features will make recurring donations easier for your organization to set up and for your donors to choose!
- One-Step Payments. If there are no other items in the donor’s purchase, you can choose to skip the shopping cart and take the donor directly to the payments page. When this option is enabled, the shopping cart will still be displayed if the donor is also purchasing tickets, registrations, reservations, memberships or merchandise.
