Dear Supporters, Eagle Scouts, Families and Scouting Volunteers,

In the Scouting movement, being prepared and displaying the leadership to make the right decisions, are two of the tenets that form our foundation.

In the light of the current health situation, the Black Swamp Area Council has received guidance from the Allen County Public Health Department in conjunction with the State of Ohio Health Department, and the Council Health Supervisor.  The decision was made to postpone the Eagle Scout & Youth Recognition Dinner scheduled for Saturday, March 14  at the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) Event Center in Lima, OH. 

Factors included in making this determination was the size of the event (more than 300 attendees), the age of a portion of the attendees and the scope of the distance individuals would be traveling to attend. 

The rescheduled date for this event is Saturday, July 25.  Look for a communication next week on the confirmation of your attendance at the new date or to request a registration refund.   Thank you for your understanding.
