Paint & Design is a virtual competition for Council Race

The Top District Paint & Design finishers are vying for the title of Best In Show" this year. For 2026, this competition will crown its winner from online voting.

Voters have until April 18 to cast a vote toward their choice for Top Car. The winner will be determined by the voting results and all ranks are competing together in one class.

“A reason for the change in process is because on council race, entries are limited to just a few who attend, so the attempt is to broaden the competition and help showcase the work of more Scouts virtually,” said Jim Mason, race advisor.

Car Show/Best In Show participant finalist ARE NOT EXPECTED to attend the Council Pinewood Derby Race to be eligible to win! The purpose of this online voting process is to allow for a more convenient entry experience without the drive to Findlay.
