As we approach Election Day, it's a great reminder that Scouting America has a long-standing commitment to teaching patriotism, citizenship, and service to our country while remaining nonpartisan. Scouts proudly participate in civic traditions like presenting the colors and leading the Pledge of Allegiance, but Scouting units and members in uniform do not endorse political candidates, parties, or movements.
This important policy helps ensure that Scouting remains a place where young people of all backgrounds can learn, lead, and serve together while focusing on our shared commitment to America and our communities.
