Join us for the Motor Boating Merit Badge Clinic on Thursday, May 12, 2022 and Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Time: May 12th 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

           May 14th, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please bring a lunch.

You must pass the DNR Boater Safety Class.  Click here to register for the class.  Cost is $10.00 for the class and will be collected on the first day of the clinic. 

If a Scout already has taken the DNR safe boating class and has a license they only have to attend the merit badge portion on May 14, 2022 from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm.

All classes meet outside at the South Shore Yacht Club, 2300 East Nock St. Must attend both days scheduled. Classes may be rescheduled due to weather (rain or storms). Dress for the weather as it is often much cooler by the lake. 

Bring a life jacket if you have one or one will be provided to you to wear. 

All participants will require a face covering and will observe social distancing. 

All Scouts must have proof of passing the BSA Swim Test prior to attending the clinic. A letter from the Scoutmaster will be accepted.
