Scouting Family & Troop Camping

Summers are great on the bay.  Do you need an outdoor respite from months stuck indoors?  Find what you are looking for at Rodney Scout Reservation.

Throughout the months of July and August, you will be able to camp at your favorite Scout Camp on the Chesapeake with your Scouting Family or your Troop.  

Pick the type of campsite you would like and we will assign the sites when you check-in.  A comfort station (with toilets and hot showers) will be available near your site.

During weekends at Rodney, our staff will provide you with program opportunities.  The programs will change each week and we will give you the weekend schedule of options when you check-in.  The list below is just the start of the programs we will offer each weekend.

We need a Unit Roster & Program plan from any Troops/Families that participate in weekend camping.  Please fill out the below document to turn in at Check-In or submit beforehand to camping@dmvc.org.

Cancellation Policy
Applies to Offline Payments, Visa, MasterCard There will be no refunds for cancellations within 2 weeks of camp date. Arrangements made to transfer fees already paid to another weekend can be made ONLY if the Outdoor Program office is notified in writing 2 weeks in advance of the camp date. If you choose not to attend camp within 2 weeks of your camp date, there will be no refund or transfer regardless of the reason. If it is necessary to close the camp due to inclement weather you will be notified.
