Raritan Valley District Cub Scout Family Camping

May 17-19, 2019

Winnebago Scout Reservation

Join the Cub Scout Packs of Raritan Valley for a fun-filled experience at Winnebago Scout Reservation from May 17 to 19.   Planned activities include:

  • Campfire Program
  • BB Guns
  • Archery
  • Medieval Crafts
  • Boating
  • Fishing (bring your own fishing pole and bait)
  • Various other medieval games, contests, and activities.


For your Pack's convenience, this Camporee we will be offering Lunch meal service at the Dining Hall:

Hot Dog, Potato Chips and Drink - $4.00 additional cost per person

Hamburger, Potato Chips and Drink - $5.00 additional cost per person

Veggieburger, Potato Chips and Drink - $5.50 additional cost per person

Lunch meals must be ordered and purchased during the registration process. You can not purchase meals at the Camporee. Of course, you still will be able to make meals at your campsite or bring your own food.

All activities are related to our 2019 camping theme: “Knights of the Raritan Valley Roundtable”.  The overview for the three days and two nights of camping is:


Friday, May 17th

16:00                     Check-in begins

20:30                     Leaders Meeting (Dining Hall)

22:00                     Quiet Time


Saturday, May 18th

08:00                     Check-in (Breakfast on your own for Friday arrivals)

08:30                     Opening Ceremony

09:15                     Activities (Round-Robin Stations)

12:00                     Lunch (in the Dining Hall)  

13:00                     Activities (Round Robin Stations)

17:00                     Activities Complete

18:00                     Dinner (on your own at your Pack campsite)

19:30                     Campfire Ceremony

22:00                     Quiet Time


Sunday, May 19th

08:00                     Breakfast (on your own at your Pack campsite)

11:00                     Campsites Clean/Checkout Complete


Fee: The fee for camping is $20 per attendee.


NOTE: Upon Check-In Pack Leaders should have a complete roster of attendees as well as the required BSA medical background form for each youth participant.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds: Individuals or groups that cancel a program reservation 30 days prior to the date of the event will receive a refund of fees paid, less a 15% administrative charge. No refunds will be made after the 30 day cancellation deadline, unless there is a medical or other emergency.
