Indianapolis Zoo Field Trips

Field trip rates are available to public, private, and home school groups. To qualify for the field trip rate, groups must have at least 15 people.

Field trips are available August 15th, 2022 through June 2, 2023. The field trip rate does not apply to weekend visits, day cares or summer camps, or special zoo events such as Zoo Boo and Christmas at the Zoo.

A reservation is required at least two weeks in advance. A separate reservation is required for each visit. 

No payment is required to make a reservation but online reservations are required to hold your spot. Your group will be invoiced after your visit.

How to register for a field trip: 

• Select the Education Field Trip category from the menu on the left of the calendar

• Select Education Field trip 

• Select your preferred date from the calendar

• To reserve your selected date, click button that appears marked "RESERVE"

• Proceed to checkout. The checkout button will appear to the right of the calendar. 

• Field trips and additional school programs will go on sale August 15
