The Marin Council, Scouting America operates Camp Tamarancho high in the hills above the town of Fairfax.  In partnership with the Friends of Tamarancho local volunteer group and the regional Marin Trail Stewards organization, we provide many miles of challenging and well-maintained single-track mountain-biking trails around the perimeter of the camp property, in addition to public access through the Marin County Open Space Preserves and fire roads.
