Doubleknot's Mobile Check-in application provides scanning, validation, check-in and attendance recording for participants of events based on Doubleknot issued QR codes appearing on receipts, tickets and mobile devices using an iPhone or iPad.

Before using the application your event, facility or program must be set to generate QR code on receipts or send an email containing the QR code prior to the start of the event or booking date.  The setting appear where the event, facility or program is created.

To download the application, view this page on your iPhone and click here or go to the App Store on your phone and search for Doubleknot.

Once the application is installed you will need to provide a Doubleknot user id and password so the application can logon to Doubleknot.  To set the user id and password go to the iPhone's Settings and locate the Checkin setting.  It should appear similar to the following screen: 

You must provide a user id and password which has privileges to edit the event.  If not you will receive and "unauthorized" message when scanning a QR code.

You can also change the settings which control the sound played on successful or failed check-ins.  It is recommended you do not change the other setting unless instructed by Doubleknot.

Once the user id and password are provided launch the application.  Press Scan and hold the device over the QR code so it displays in the window provided.  Once the code is read a beep will be heard with the results displayed below the scanning window as in the following picture.
